Accomplishments of the 2006 Staff

Established the company name and created identity pieces (Bronze Man Books & logo).

Researched various university presses, publishing companies and small presses in order to create the original Bronze Man Books mission statement.

Discussed possible markets and publication lines, identifying five key lines of publications including: (a) art exhibit catalogs, (b) picture books for children, (c) literary anthologies, (d) short run literary chapbooks featuring individual writers, and (e) Millikin University photo history books.

Published the art exhibit catalog, Robert Marshall Root: Something More Than Praise by Ed Walker. Publication release corresponded with the opening reception of the exhibit in the Perkinson Gallery in the Kirkland Fine Arts Center.

Received grant support to attend the Self Employment in the Arts Conference in Naperville, Illinois.
