No, Bronze Man Books publishes books for readers. When a book is accepted for publication by Bronze Man Books, we agree to pay all production costs and to work with the author to develop marketing events celebrating the author and the book.
How are authors paid?
The standard Bronze Man Books contract provides a one-time payment to the author based on 10% of the press run, or the equivalent wholesale value. For example, if we have a press run of 1,000 books, then the author may choose to receive 100 copies of the book. Or the author may choose 10 copies of the book and the wholesale value of an additional 90 books. If the book retails for $20, then the wholesale value would be $10 per book.
